  1. WOW! Super-fantastic! We LOVED this chicken dish! I used marinated artichokes and chopped them fine (I believe they added to the overall flavor). I used t minced garlic and a dash of salt and pepper in place of the garlic pepper (I didn't have any).
  2. This artichoke heart hummus is the perfect veggie dip! One of my favorite parts about going % plant based is. you guessed it hummus! I’ve always loved hummus intensely. I could almost eat it straight with a spoon. But since I was eating low carb for so long, hummus was off the table. And yes, it was difficult. Very, very difficult.
  3. Mar 21,  · I love artichokes but hate mayonnaise and I had a hard time trying to find a recipe that didn't call for mayo. I followed the rest of the recipe exactly but I substituted one can of reduced sodium cream of celery soup for the mayo. It was phenomenal. Everyone said it was the best they ever had. I noticed that it didn't get oily on top like I've /5().
  4. Dec 26,  · Spinach Artichoke Dip is irresistibly creamy and every bite is loaded with spinach and artichokes. This spinach and artichoke dip recipe is too easy; just heating and mixing everything together. If you enjoyed our Hot Shrimp Dip, you will love this!. Spinach and Artichoke dip is our #1 party appetizer and it always disappears fast.
  5. May 25,  · Mimi, Artichokes are steamed so they stay very moist. I usually use 1/4 lb. of meat for artichokes. Veal, pork, beef mix or just one of your favorite, breadcrumbs soaked in milk, parmesan cheese, garlic, fresh parsley, fresh thyme, an egg, salt and pepper and the stems of the artichokes peeled and diced very small.
  6. Lay the artichoke sideways and trim 1 inch ( cm) off the top and the bottom of the stem. Remove any tough outer leaves near the stem. Use kitchen shears to trim off the sharp tips of the remaining leaves. Cut the artichoke in half lengthwise, through the middle. Immediately rub the artichoke all over with a lemon slice, especially the cut 5/5.
  7. Jul 13,  · Love this Vintage Artichoke from Concord & 9th and it’s is one of my favorite stamps. It was an easy color today because all I needed to add was some pencil highlights. When I was painting the petals I would paint half of the petal so I have definition down the center of each petal or leaf. When that half was dry I would paint the other half.
  8. We’ve loved spinach and artichoke dip for quite some time. But it never occurred to me until this week to put that idea with scalloped potatoes and let me tell you it was absolutely delish! So creamy. Gobs of cheesy goodness. Topped with crispy bits, and a few more veggies for good measure.
